The Italian fashion house is at Baselworld, which wraps up Tuesday in Basel, Switzerland to present its new line of unisex watches, “Grip”. The collection features a distinct and innovative design, which is a touch vintage and designed for both feminine and masculine wrists.

The  “Grip” watch line has a single-faceted dial. Square in shape, the case is styled with delicate contours that create a round effect, and the dial features windows offering a glimpse of rotating own white discs to tell – from top to bottom -- the hour, minute and the date.

This particular collection is made up of four models using a variety of materials: one has a PVD yellow gold case and bracelet, a second has a stainless steel case and bracelet, a third has a steel case and a green calfskin bracelet, and the fourth features a PVD yellow gold case and a bordeaux-colored calfskin bracelet. All  highlight the iconic double G, signature of the Gucci fashion house.

The four timepieces use a quartz movement with hour, minute and date functions.

Baselworld, which reveals the latest creations and trends that will set the pace in watch styles for the rest of the year, wraps up its 2019 edition Tuesday.
