Woolmark to debut Wool Lab Sport at Spinexpo

The Woolmark Company will debut the Wool Lab Sport at the upcoming Spinexpo to be held in Shanghai from August 30 to September 1 at stand C-04. The Wool Lab Sport will showcase a collection of the world's most inspiring and technically advanced wool yarns suitable for activewear with two themes, developed through extensive research.

The first theme Sport Active, presents the most technically performing wool fabrics and yarns, mixed with technical fibres, to ensure the best results during physical activity.

While Sport Stylish, the second theme expresses the role of Merino wool as a fundamental element to the classic wardrobe of the most refined and exclusive sports such as golf, horse riding, sailing and polo.

Woolmark is also showing the traditional apparel version of the Wool Lab, dedicated to the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2017-18 season.

The latest edition of the Wool Lab dedicates three out of seven themes to a style that is suitable for both womenswear and menswear.

For the first time, the Wool Lab has dedicated a theme to homeware products and interior textiles, as wool fabrics continue to become increasingly popular outside of traditional men's tailoring.
