Sustainable luxury brand Victoria Road has launched a children's capsule exclusively with Barneys New York. The collection focuses on girls ages 4 through 12 and includes pieces for pre-fall and holiday.

The capsule features embroidered denim, textured cotton separates, velvet jackets and party dresses. Fabrics are wrinkle-resistant and durable, and were chosen to fit in with Victoria Road's aesthetic, while also being functional to cope with the harder wear that children subject their clothes to.

Commenting on the collection's aesthetic in a release, John Totolis, vice president and divisional merchandise manager for men's tailored clothing, furnishings and children's at Barneys, said, "The whimsical florals and sophisticated designs in its fun, kid-friendly pieces are perfect for the lifestyles of today's kids."

Shannon Grewer, co-founder and CEO of Victoria Road, said that by partnering with Barneys, "We are able to tell a story through our designs and use fashion as a stepping stone to a positive cross-cultural dialogue."

Victoria Road is a member of the Fair Trade Federation, which ensures that workshop employees are treated fairly and paid living wages. The company ethically sources and manufactures in Lahore, Pakistan. The factory it uses is also a zero waste facility that produces in small runs and finds subsequent uses for all fabric remnants.

The children's Victoria Road collection is priced from $65-$172. Pre-fall pieces are available now and holiday pieces will roll out in August. The collection can be found at Barneys New York's Madison Avenue flagship store as well as online.
