Victoria Beckham to celebrate 10th anniversary with LFW debut

Victoria Beckham’s fashion brand will show at London Fashion Week in September for the first time in its 10-year history.

Victoria Beckham opened its first flagship store in 2014 at Dover Street London, however it has never before been presented at London Fashion Week.

The catwalk show will commemorate the brand's 10th anniversary and follow a series of changes in the way it presents its seasonal collections, according to reports.

In addition to the September show in London, the swathe of changes will include Victoria Beckham's departure from its traditional catwalk slot at New York Fashion Week in February in favour of "intimate presentations", showcasing its AW18 collection at the James Burden Mansion on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The decision to return to a presentation is a nod to the luxury brand’s early days, when it held private appointments.

The year of celebrations will also see the brand launch “special pieces and activations” following a £30 million investment from NEO Investment Partners in November.

When it announced the partnership, Victoria Beckham said the move would enable the brand to launch into new categories and collaborations, as well as enhance its digital and physical retail presence and drive growth in core categories.

The company is also planning to move to a new location in West London in Spring.
