She has conquered the beauty business, and now Pat McGrath has the fashion industry in her sights.

The iconic makeup artist and cosmetics entrepreneur's ‘Pat McGrath Labs' brand is dropping its debut streetwear collection of merchandise, as reported by FashionNetwork.com in September, dubbed ‘Pat McGrath Apparel 001'. The eight-piece, limited-edition line will launch on December 7 at patmcgrath.com and at Dover Street Market New York, with the retailer revealing via social media that McGrath will be present in person to oversee the drop.

McGrath has been teasing the collection on Instagram, where she unveiled a video showcasing a black bomber jacket with a golden hieroglyphic eye motif. "Wear without caution," she urged her 1.6 million followers. According to Vogue, the collection will also include long and short-sleeved tees, a hoodie and a sweatshirt, and will only be on sale through December 13. "I wanted to create a new, unisex way for people to love Labs without using cosmetics," McGrath told the publication.

The surprise move rounds out an immensely successful year for the makeup mogul, who took her booming cosmetics business to the next level in August, with the launch of a permanent, ‘unlimited' beauty collection. This year has also seen her makeup brand become the first to sell beauty products on the music streaming service Spotify, thanks to a partnership unveiled in November. Additionally, she became an official beauty-editor-at-large for British Vogue, won the prestigious 'Founder's Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert' at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards, and was honored with the ‘Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator' at The Fashion Awards 2017 in London earlier this week.
