Trade show organiser Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A. (IEG) has acquired a 51% stake in US show services and design solutions company FB International Inc., founded in 1988 by Italian entrepreneur Fabrizio Bartolozzi. FB International has two operational headquarters, one in Oakland, New Jersey, active on the Atlantic coast from Canada to Miami, and the other in Las Vegas, covering the USA's West Coast and Mexico.

The President and CEO of IEG, Lorenzo Cagnoni, said that FB International "provides general contracting services and specialised show design solutions that are tailor-made, especially appreciated by major exhibitors. The acquisition has been realised via the creation of a new company, wholly owned by IEG, called IEG USA, which will become an operational tool for new business ventures, also in collaboration with other Italian trade show groups, as new acquisitions are already on the cards."

FB International's new senior management team features Fabrizio Bartolozzi as CEO, while IEG's Corrado Facco is the new President. Carlo Costa, Deputy General Manager of IEG, has been appointed President of IEG USA.
