Disney's 1951 animated version of "Alice in Wonderland" has inspired a ready-to-wear collection for women and kids from Cath Kidston and Disney. The collection features prints and motifs from the marvellous world of the children's classic.

Disney has joined forces with British brand Cath Kidston -- known for its vintage prints -- on a collection themed on the adventures of "Alice in Wonderland," the studio's animated classic based on the book by Lewis Carroll. The pieces in this enchanting capsule celebrate the film's star, Alice, and her many friends, from the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts to Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

The collection has several lines, each characterised by its own set of prints and motifs, and comprises women's and children's ready-to-wear pieces, as well as accessories, leather goods and homeware. All of the creations evoke a scene, a moment or iconic graphics from the animated movie, reworked by the Cath Kidston design team.

The "Alice and Friends" line, for example, features key characters from the Disney classic alongside a polka dot motif. "Alice's Words" features cult phrases from the classic tale, while "Alice's Meadow" shows Alice in a field of daisies, and "Painting the Roses" sees Alice adding color to Cath Kidston's iconic flowers. "Alice Hearts," on the other hand, celebrates the Queen of Hearts.

The Disney x Cath Kidston collection goes on sale May 25 in stores and online.
